Have you noticed that your car is covered in a layer of yellow dust lately? Or that your lanai table has a film of dirt on it? Well, it’s that time of year again here in Southwest Florida. Pollen season is high now with trees blooming. That, combined with the amount of mold spores in the air, creates havoc on exterior structures.
Over the past month, pollen counts have fluctuated from moderate to high. The culprits are the elm, juniper, grasses, oak and the bayberry. Not only does this irritate your nose, eyes and throat, it is covering your lanai, pool, roof and driveway.
